I'm a self-taught graphic and web designer with front-end development experience. I studied psychology and fine art in college which shaped the way I see the design world. I've been a freelancer for most of my career, but I'd love to work on a skilled team of designers and developers to improve myself and my work.
My partner and I founded RainMade LLC as a creative consultancy - we work on projects ranging from brand identity to robotic prototypes.
To obtain a challenging and rewarding position in a work environment where I can utilize visual design principles and web languages to create engaging and intuitive user experiences as a designer and front-end web developer.
As principal designer, I'm responsible for all aspects of creative material. I primarily work on front-end design using responsive frameworks and develop a website's UI and look and feel. I specialize in the design and front-end build of static websites and graphic design for web.
I provide creative direction for a variety of projects including website design, brand identity, landing pages, print collateral, advertisements, and email marketing campaigns.
I design, mockup, and build websites using HTML, CSS, and frameworks such as Twitter's Bootstrap. I work with clients to create a custom, mobile-first web presence.
As a graphic designer, I produce visual pieces for local companies such as online advertisements, social media graphics, email templates, slideshow presentations, infographics, and print collateral.
I create and develop marketing web pages within WordPress CMS for ActiveLifeScientific.com, Research.ActiveLifeScientific.com, and OpenMateriomics.com. I design marketing and informational material for international conferences, investor education, and general use. I create interactive web content such as slideshow presentations, animated graphics, and responsive emails.
I worked on design and layout for advertisements, brochures, flyers, and email newsletters for workzones. I adhered to company branding policies and create unique and standardized elements such as icon sets and templates. I also used my knowledge of information design to create effective forms and documents.
I used CSS stylesheets to customize event and organizer web pages. I checked cross-browser compatibility of all web pages.
